Today really felt like it was spring, it was such a beautiful day. So without realising I managed to dress myself like I was going for a spot of polo out in my country abode (you know in an alternative universe where I am straight out of the cast of Made in Chelsea). All i need is a whip and a helmet and I am ready to mount my horse, joppers and riding boots at the ready.
When I bought this blazer it was one of those beautiful moments during the sales a few years ago. It was marked down to thirty euro on the price tag and I thought this was great, a bargain. Got to the cash register - it was five euro. FIVE. A FIVER. Never quite got over that. It was wondrous.
These are my second pair of real riding boots that started my obsession with them. As I said about my black ones, they are the sturdiest most comfortable boots you will get at a fraction of high street prices. While I bought my black pair in an actual pet store, these I picked up in a wonderful vintage store in Kilkenny, country Ireland called Shutterbug. It truly is a phenomenal store. I adore it. And these were a steal at twenty euro.
And obviously when I have finished my spot of polo I will lounge around on the deck with a mojito and throw on my tan fedora. Obviously.
(Just in case...This post is sarcastic....... )
